Who envisioned themselves pursuing a career in Human Resources at a young age? Definitely not me (and I highly doubt many others did either), but during my time in the military, I've come to recognize its appeal as I've found joy in witnessing the success and happiness of those around me. Not only would I have the ability to help others in this career, I would also be in a position to make vital decisions contributing to the success of an organization. HR possesses the ability to work closely with various departments and individuals at different organizational levels which equips me with the tools necessary to one day oversee all facets of a business.
