I am Jonathan Q. Pressley, a dedicated professional with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in Public Relations from Florida Gulf Coast University, where I graduated magna cum laude. My academic journey reflects my passion for communication and commitment to excellence. In addition to my bachelor’s degree, I hold an associate’s degree from Florida SouthWestern State College, where I earned multiple collegiate awards for my writing skills as a FSW Compass sports reporter, receiving recognition both nationally and regionally.During my internship with FGCU 360, I had the opportunity to showcase my writing abilities by authoring three articles, one of which caught the attention of WGCU and was featured on their website. This accomplishment demonstrated my ability to create content that resonates with reputable organizations.My journey has been shaped by a strong commitment to personal growth and a passion for mentoring others. Returning to education at an older age, I honed my skills and gained valuable insights, particularly in peer counseling. My diverse life experiences have given me a natural ability to adapt to various environments and connect with different people.In my professional career, I was recently promoted to Supervisor within just eight months of my hire date, which is a testament to my rapid growth, determination, and desire to succeed. I have also excelled in creating designs that enhance marketing and advertising efforts, understanding the critical importance of tailoring content to the intended audience.After an enriching experience at Kimmie’s Recovery Zone, I am grateful for the opportunity to have grown and learned as part of their team. I am now embarking on the next chapter of my career as a Recovery Peer Specialist at Lee Health. I look forward to continuing my journey of making a positive impact, mentoring others, and leveraging my unique perspective to help individuals navigate life’s challenges.
