Oversaw all field activity in eleven states, including the management of staff and coordination of volunteers. Significantly increased direct voter engagement through door knocking, call banking, and P2P text campaigns. Coordinated ballot access drives in eight states, collecting over 90,000 signatures and successfully achieving ballot access in every state. Hired excellent staff who exceeded expectations. Trained staff and volunteers in campaign software including NationBuilder, CallHub, Peerly, and a novel canvassing platform. Executed a six-month contract to develop plans for accelerated growth in physical presence and enhanced technology. Developed relationships with healthcare and wellness practitioners to form alliances for client cross-referral and expanded network across the Greater Pittsburgh community. Enhanced compliance of state and federal regulation while positioning business for success in growth.

Southwestern Pennsylvania

Established congressional offices and staff for a freshman member. Oversaw all district operations, including but not limited to the management of three offices, eight full-time staff, community outreach, constituent services, relationship management, special events, service academy nominations, communications, budget management, and the Congressman's schedule. Managed district operations through a successful and strong reelect with firm community support.

Successfully managed the campaign against an incumbent in a district with registration favoring the incumbent 52% - 42%. Managed staff, daily operations, candidate’s calendar, and a budget of $2 million. Conducted all communication for the campaign including social media. Worked with general counsel and candidate to develop and implement overall and day-to-day strategy that led to victory in what was one of the top congressional races in the country.

Greater Pittsburgh Area

Provided committed outreach to the business community, institutes of education, healthcare industry, unions, non-profits, and general constituents of the southwest region of Pennsylvania. This region included Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland counties.

Led candidate’s efforts to raise all financial resources for a major U.S. Congressional campaign. Campaign raised approximately 1.1 million dollars and overcame challenges of low name ID and difficult economic environment. Planned and managed all campaign events including major fundraisers with featured guests along with 35 other fundraising and neighborhood events. Participated in the strategic inner workings of the campaign, and took necessary actions to comply with FEC campaign finance regulations.

Achieved certification and extensive knowledge in top-rated financial products. Successfully identified market opportunities and utilized the strategies of cold calling, networking, and referral prospecting to establish an initial client base. Worked closely with clients to develop customized solutions that met long-term financial goals and objectives. Helped clients attain financial security by conducting detailed interviews, determining clients' needs, producing full, detailed analyses of short and long term goals and implementing solutions in a stepwise manner.

Worked at the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology using a Drosophila model to conduct a p-element screen to identify novel neurodegenerative mutants, characterize these mutants to identify key proteins in neural maintenance, and apply these discoveries to better understand human neurodegenerative disease. Worked to discover direct evidence of mutations in the Na+/K+ ATPase that lead to age-dependent neurodegeneration, and worked to identify A-to-I editing of pre-mRNAs to discover the biological functions of A-to-I editing and elucidate the poorly understood cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration.
