Senior Linux engineer on the IPSE RHEL team. Worked on several projects including a Chef-based config management project, a cloud-based pipeline solution involving a lot of bash scripting, and a successful RHEL upgrade project involving a lot of Python and Ansible scripting. Worked with a VERY skilled team of engineers leveraging open source software and collaboration practices.

I did Planetarium Shows. It was super fun.

Contracted through Randstad Technologies. DevOps work, helping plan and deploy Ansible-based automation solutions. Writing & troubleshooting bash, perl, & python scripts.

Contracted through Cognizant & Net2Source. Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, & Automation work.

Contracted to Bank of America. Assisted an application production support team in transition. Wrote and troubleshooted Perl and Bash scripts. Worked to identify server level security vulnerabilities and worked with System Administrators to remediate them.

Contracted through Fortitude Systems. ST&CI. Software Lead for seven successful service pack releases for AIM Security Systems Information Management Services. Worked closely with development, wrote some batch and Powershell scripts and assisted with a number of code changes/merges. Worked a lot with Oracle SQL. Also filled in as interim Project Support Cloud Lab Admin and assisted with a lab migration and upgrade effort.

Contracted through Randstad. Worked with Autosys, Oracle SQL, shell scripts, Perl, JavaScript and Python in a primarily Linux environment.

Initially contracted through Randstad Sourceright. Full time as of August 2014. Driving high severity incident resolution in a primarily Windows environment.

Support engineer for the Clarity PPM and AppLogic products. Worked a lot with CentOS and with a lot of virtualization technologies including VMware ESX and Xen.

Contracted to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. During my time on this contract my positions included Service Desk Analyst, Incident Coordinator, Incident Manager, and eventually Availability Manager. Primarily a Unix/Linux environment, worked a lot with RHEL and did a lot of troubleshooting of Perl, Python, and shell scripts.
