Existing 4 storey building comprising retail outlets on ground floor with basement storage and office space on above floors. Complete strip out and refurbishment of all floors to form modern ground floor retail space and hotel option to above floors including 2 storey extension. Wellgate House, Cowgate, Edinburgh. Mechanical and Plumbing project. New build training academy for Celtic Football Club.Ordering materials, stock control, allocation of materials and plant according to site requirements.Supervision and organisiation of labour onsite to ensure compliance with Health and Safety.Control of staff onsite to maintain sufficient workforce based on programme requirements.Monitor progress of work and focus on scheduled completion dates. Liaising with site construction staff and senior management to ensure problems are resolved quickly and any delays are minimized.

Mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and plumbing project on a new build British Embassy, in Sana'a, Yemen, on behalf of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.Based in Yemen for duration of the 18 month project from site establishment to handover. Project consisted of UK management and local trades and labour. Excellent communication skills required in dealing with and organising various nationalities including Arab, African, and Indian.Responsible for initial sourcing of site office, materials, plant and local staff interviewing and employment. Liaising with local electrical contractor regarding materials and staff on site to suit workload and program. Supervising all works on site ensuring tasks are completed on time safely and meeting the required standards.Programming testing and commissioning and arranging demonstrations for client handover.Control of company project finances. Payment of subcontractors and staff and ensuring sufficient funds for locally purchased materials etc.Coordinating customs clearance and delivery to site of imported materialsLiaising with FCO and UK Design Team throughout project to ensure any issues are resolved and project is kept on track.

Organise health and safety for site, making sure all construction regulations are adhered to and everyone is aware of these regulations prior to working on site.Making sure everything is in order with materials and plant and ensuring all machinery has been checked at correct intervals for all sub- contractors on siteAssisting Site Manager and Engineers in day to day running of the site.
