Formerly Editor in Chief at Blockworks & Cointelegraph, built and launched Cointelegraph Magazine, co-founder and Editor in Chief at Crypto Briefing. I have 30 years' experience as a publisher, journalist, creative strategist, editor, advertising agency director, and media industry founder.I co-founded Crypto Briefing and helped to build it into one of the world's most trusted blockchain media outlets. Following that, I spent several months building Cointelegraph Magazine, a publication devoted to thoughtful explorations of the blockchain industry, before taking over as Editor in Chief for the entire Cointelegraph platform.Later, as Editor at Large, I acted as a consultant to the Cointelegraph newsroom, helping newer entrants to the space understand the context of the stories they find, as well as contributing occasional articles on subjects of particular interest.Most recently I served as Editor in Chief at Blockworks, where I more than doubled our market share while reinventing newsroom processes, hiring an outstanding roster of journalists, and improving editorial standards.In my advertising and marketing roles, I've worked with some of the world's largest brands, and some of the world's newest companies. Clients have included Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Guinness, Aspen Skiing Company, Sun Microsystems, BBC, IKEA, Estée Lauder, Sony, Jaguar Cars, PepsiCo, and dozens of others.I'm equally at home in a startup (and I co-organized one of the largest Startup Weeks in the country) and an established organization, and thanks to a focus on building community, participation, engagement, and action, I've successfully launched both local and global media companies.I am an expert writer, an accomplished public speaker, an inclusive manager, and I pride myself on integrating different voices, styles, talents and skills into a team.
