• Analyzed a wide variety of investment opportunities for various deals including condo conversions, retail, industrial and multifamily assets• Underwrote investment opportunities to either purchase commercial real estate debt or to originate new loans on cash flowing assets• Sized many deals of various amounts ranging from $20 million to $2 billion, both global and domestic by analyzing rent rolls and property operating statements, creating direct capitalization and DCF models and determining the LTV, DSCR, and EBITDA of each individual deal• Assisted in debt restructurings with asset management team• Monitored the sales schedule and construction budget for a $630 Million Acquisition, Renovation and Condo Conversion in Manhattan• Evaluated various CMBS and CDO vintage deals, ranging across the capital stack, from AAA (Class AJ) bonds to the subordinate L tranche

• Employed as full-time real estate analyst for Bear Stearns commercial mortgage underwriting and origination team in the Fixed Income division• Analyzed various financing opportunities for retail, office, hotel, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, land and development deals• Performed due diligence on various deals which included the underwriting of the deals, soliciting and negotiating engagements for third parties, examining leases and other contracts, performing market research analysis, executing tax diligence, running credit checks on the borrowing entities, and attaining proper approvals from credit committee• Acted as a liaison with senior bankers, legal counsel, appraisers, engineers, insurance reviewers, credit agencies and borrowers• Answered rating agency and investor questions regarding loans• Monitored performance and updated underwriting on balance sheet loans, and was responsible for compiling asset summaries for investors• Attained Series 7 and Series 63 Brokerage Licenses
