SQL Expert on the Central Analytics Team. Using disparate data from Sterling Order Management, Google Analytics, External vendor feeds, etc. I created a single datamart (database view) for easy to use cross-platform reporting for analysts across the company. I maintain the multi-touch attribution model for ROAS analysis and have integrated CLV, New/Active/Reactivated Customer Segmentation, RFM Scores all into one easy to query performant view for all of the company marketing analysts.This datamart updates daily in Snowflake on Google Cloud with a slew of MicroStrategy automated reports to recap the contents to executives across the company. All of this work is orchestrated through our corporate job-scheduler system skybot. I am responsible for the creation, maintenance and enhancements of the data and MicroStrategy data viz in this space.

Data Warehouse architect and Netezza DBA for EDW based on QuantiSense data model. Responsible for upgrades, backup and recovery process, query history configuration, alerts, GRA, user and groups, disaster recovery, performance tuning, pro-active system health monitoring and data model enhancements.Data Modelling for complimentary subject areas to enhance the existing system. ETL Development via hand-written SQL to build aggregate data from disparate systems. Responsible for moving data that has been landed in Netezza and transforming it to land in the QuantiSense data model. Also responsible for logical layer to expose data to MicroStrategy UI through views.Consistently monitoring and improving the worst performers in the database to enhance the user experience. Works closely with the MicroStrategy development team making recommendations for PRE-SQL and VLDB changes to make sure the generated SQL is optimal for Netezza.

Managed on-site team of 5 FTEs responsible for ETL/ELT development and offshore consultant MicroStrategy development team in India. Served as the technical lead for the first 1.5 years before being promoted to manager. Responsible for MicroStrategy deliverables including I-Server cubes, RSDs, dashboards, mobile apps and highly-formatted standardized grid reports. Tech Lead/DBA for all Netezza needs including hardware issues, performance issues, upgrades and establishing guidelines for best practices. Transformed standards from ETL to ELT approach taking advantage of the power of the Netezza MPP.

Coordinated MicroStrategy development of Intelligence Cubes and Standardized grid reports and documents through an offshore development team. Provided data analysis and modified table structures in the Netezza data warehouse to maximize query run times. Developed extraction scripts from the warehouse to feed third party systems. Added functionality to the base QuantiSense data model for company-specific reporting needs.

Senior Programmer/Analyst in the Applications Development Group. Designed, documented, developed and deployed interface applications to implement the Retek Merchandising System through PL/SQL packages and procedures. Scheduled jobs for interfaces by developing modules and chains in AppWorx. Managed offshore development team for MicroStrategy development work and delivered executive-level Sales dashboards.

Programmer/Analyst in the Merchandise Application Development Group. Provided IT support for the allocations and planning business units including ad hoc queries, custom feeds to 3rd party systems and customized reports from our proprietary report request system. Developed maps and process flows in Oracle Warehouse Builder to build a merchandise reporting data mart.

Developed, enhanced and debugged custom transformation package to convert Legacy data to Infor’s PLM Optiva software package on an Oracle 9i database. Assisted in all phases of the ETL process that used SQL DTS packages for extraction, custom PL/SQL program for transformation and a proprietary 3rd party software package to load the data.
