As Town Engineer I managed and supervised a staff of engineers in a very active town engineering department. We were responsible for providing technical support of all municipal operations and utilities. While there I facilitated the design, planning, and completion of multiple major public works projects. I reviewed projects for compliance of various elements with local standards and ordinances.

During my brief time with Maguire I completed road alignment designs, alternative development schemes, streetscape designs, highway interchange designs, drainage designs, and quantity take-offs.

While working in Quonset I had oversight responsibility for the design, planning, and completion of numerous construction and demolition projects. I became proficient in handling simultaneous projects and meeting deadlines effectively. I also prepared and presented project updates to senior management.

Just out of school I worked in the Town of Westerly. I was in charge of many public works and infrastructure projects, large and small, most completed under estimate and ahead of schedule. I designed and prepared plans for construction, evaluated costs, prepared estimates, and specifications. Inspected major construction projects and checked plans for conformance to applicable codes.
