Over 20 years of direct experience in the renewable power, utility, and energy infrastructure industries. Core competencies include mergers and acquisitions, business development, due diligence, financial and investment analysis, tax and tax equity structuring, accounting and financial reporting as well as a working understanding of oil & gas and power generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure including renewable energy technologies.Most recently, my experience is largely focused in M&A and business development in the energy transition sector, including battery storage, wind, solar, hydro and transmission opportunities. This role includes resourcing and managing due diligence team members from multiple disciplines and business segments to complete acquisition or development project work. Completing investment and financial analysis including constructing and maintaining detailed financial models. Followed by preparing and presenting the resulting analysis and conclusions to senior financial executives and investment committees. Previously to this, I was in budgeting/forecasting, financial reporting and tax roles in the utilities and oil and gas industries. As well as working in tax and auditing positions in Big 4 accounting firms while articling for my Chartered Accountant designation.
