I am an IBMer. After graduating from the University of Essex with an honours degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering) in 1999, I started work at IBM Hursley Labs in the MQ development team. I have worked on every release of MQ since across a variety of platforms including AIX, OS/400, Linux Intel/PPC/s390x, HP-UX, Solaris SPARC/Itanium, HP NonStop Kernel, MacOS & Windows.Since 2020 I've undertaken the technical lead role for the Native HA feature, providing a replicated log solution for container based deployments.I enjoy the deeply technical side of my job, designing and developing new product features and fixes.I am married to my wife Lisa and have two daughters, Erin who is a keen judoka and Sophia who is more into her ballet than her ippon seoi nages.
