Communicate progress to senior management.• Lead the creation of the new Waste (RCRA) product, a huge growth opportunity for Encamp's cloud-enabled environmental reporting business. Delivered multiple critical supporting technologies, like our industry-unique Compliance Engine.• Process driver at Encamp, pushing us to grow from startup to scale-up. Implemented new development initiatives, agile processes, and quality control practices without destabilizing Encamp's awesome dev culture. Collaborate with and mature our nascent Product group.• Lead or participate in numerous additional initiatives at Encamp: hiring, hackathons, retros, product development, and more.

• Responsible for standing up, staffing and leading our new Innovation Lab, which supports rapid prototype development and forward-looking technology creation to drive new business growth.• Write or consult on new program proposals and white papers. Make recommendations on system architectures and technologies for new system designs. Work with business development and corporate leadership to capture new program contracts.• Coordinate technology selection across the sector. Consult with each program to make appropriate technology decisions to fulfill unique program requirements while consolidating across the sector where possible. Facilitate cloud-based demonstration capabilities across the BigBear.AI analytics sector.• Consult with development teams across the sector to evaluate and improve (and in some cases implement) best-fit agile processes. Provide agile training and coaching (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.). Drive innovation culture.• Drive best practices across the sector for development (like unit and E2E testing), QA (like automated functional testing), devops (like CI/CD and containerization), and UX (like personas and journey maps).

• Responsible for the creation and development of the ORION platform. Instrumental in growing the program from its inception into a sizeable and integrated multi-team environment (35+ distributed personnel). Directed the development, quality assurance and devops teams to produce numerous applications for the ORION suite of products (JFCC, PMST, etc). Responsible for hiring and onboarding. • Responsible for implementing and scaling a robust agile development process (Scrum & SAFe). Coordinated complex deployments in a highly restrictive environment (DoD SIPRNET).• Responsible for driving the transition to modern software development practices in the slow-to-change DoD space: agile methodologies, modern languages (Angular, open source libraries, etc.), devops deployment principles, enterprise architectures (from monolithic to microservice), containerization, and cloud hosting.• Consulted on strategies for software architecture, quality assurance, user experience, database management, and devsecops. Coordinated with Joint Staff J35 customers, additional contracting teams, remote development sites and other government entities. Conducted user interviews and Tier 3 support. Reviewed requirements specifications and documentation.

• Responsible for the development of the Army Force Generation Synchronization Tool (AST). Managed the development, quality assurance, and operations teams to produce the AST software. Responsible for all hiring. • Introduced agile development methodologies to ProModel. Managed the Scrum development process. Introduced agile development to US Army FORSCOM to reduce release cycles from 2 years to 6 months to bi-weekly.• Coordinated with the US Army FORSCOM G6 and on-site ProModel personnel for requirements gathering and deployments. Facilitated weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings. • Reviewed code architecture. Reviewed and prepared requirements specifications for development.

• Worked with a team to create Portfolio Simulator, which applies prescriptive simulation techniques to portfolio management. Converted and upgraded ProModel’s discrete event simulation engine from VB to C#.• Responsible for the development of the Army Force Generation Synchronization Tool (AST). Extensive programming with C# and Microsoft Silverlight. Developed numerous modules to support the Army Force Generation process. Extensive UI development using C# and XAML.

• Created software used in a broad range of automotive aftermarket applications. Developed tools that interfaced with existing data systems to provide expanded vehicle data and part information for the Federal-Mogul sales force. • Created an extensive data entry and maintenance system used for warehousing data and creating catalogs for publication (print and electronic). • Created an automated typesetting system and digital layouts for print catalogs, completely eliminating the time-consuming and costly physical proofing process. Created and maintained large SQL databases. • Extensive programming with VB, C#, SQL, and Microsoft Access VBA.

• Designed and created an extensive environmental database for the United States Postal Service using Microsoft Access & Visual Basic. • Implemented a web-based user interface with ASP. Developed the database under general direction of the client and met established deadlines. High client satisfaction with final product.

• Assisted Ford Motor Company with modernizing their PC infrastructure throughout the Dearborn area.• Performed IT services on individual PCs across dozens of buildings in the Ford Dearborn engineering campus. Worked with clients to perform software backup services. Updated PCs with the latest version of Windows. Conducted Windows training for users.
