Here are the areas that I'm passionate about.►PROFESSIONAL:I’m an enterprise operations guy. My strengths are being able to work across multiple organizations with mostly informal/volunteer “management” titles to move large and complex projects across the finish line. I am currently the Director of Customer Success for a healthcare technology company focused on developing tools and services for professional and family caregivers serving our aging population (i.e. Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, etc.)►PERSONAL:I married my college sweetheart 30+ years ago and together we've raised 7 wonderful kids. We've homeschooled each of them and are enjoying the new season of watching them "adulting." My wife and I are passionate about helping parents "discover and empower" the unique gifts in their children. We are very involved in a large church in Georgetown and are committed followers of Christ.►POLITICAL:I've been involved in politics since I watched Reagan announce his re-election campaign on Auditorium Shores in Austin, Texas (1984). Most of my involvement has been on the operations side. I've served as the IT Director for the Republican Party of Texas in the late 90s and "CTO" for various campaigns over the years. Early CareerVarious Feb 1993 - Jan 2003My professional career started with Dell's Technical Support Team (1993-1995). I began as a frontline technician and was part of the first team that exclusively supported commercial accounts. With the advent of the Internet, I left Dell and joined a partner to form Schober O'Neal, Inc. (1995-1997). Schober O'Neal was an early web development company. We created the first website for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and several other local companies. My first management role was with The Republican Party of Texas (1997-2000) where I served as the MIS Director and oversaw a team of 3 that were responsible for the IT Department, data-mining of the Texas voter database, and various projects related to the State Conventions and Elections. Following the 2000 election, I left the Republican Party to join Whisperwire (2000-2001). Whisperwire was an early stage startup that developed sales enablement software for the telecom industry (Whisperwire was acquired by Convergys in 2004). My responsibilities included managing all internal IT services, and supporting the CIO with the development of the SAAS deployment infrastructure. After leaving Whisperwire, I joined Primus Solutions (2001-2003) as a Systems Integrator and was responsible for ongoing technical support of clients.
