Support the development, implementation, and expansion of the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Payment ModelOversee the development and implementation of FPSC payment initiatives for family physicians Provide strategic and operational advice to leadership to inform policy decisions on physician compensation

Lead the development and implementation of GPSC payment initiatives for family physicians.• Work with Ministry of Health and physician partners to develop, implement, and evaluate compensation initiatives for physicians.• Evaluate and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to estimate impact of compensation programs.• Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement compensation programs.• Review and interpret provincial regulations to support appropriate physician billing and to inform policy development.• Prepare briefing notes and other policy documents to inform leadership decision making.

Provide research and analytical support for Doctors of BC's policy development and advocacy efforts. • Develop policy recommendations on policy matters impacting the medical profession.• Write policy papers and statements on topics relating to health policy/economics and health promotion.• Conduct literature and jurisdictional reviews to develop evidence-based policy.• Design and analyze surveys to support member engagement in policy development.• Deliver presentations on policy issues to executives and physician members.

Provide analytical, investigative and administrative support for HPO Compliance efforts aimed at enhancing consumer protection in BC's residential building industry.• Interpret and apply the Homeowner Protection Act to determine licensing and warranty requirements for a diverse set of circumstances.• Engage with stakeholder groups (e.g. local governments, builders/developers and warranty providers) to increase awareness of and compliance to licensing and home warranty regulations.• Collect and document data/evidence to substantiate compliance investigations and to identify potential risks to regulatory regime.

Research and programming support for the implementation of provincial international education initiatives. • Research to support the re-launch of the BC Study Abroad Consortium.• Survey design and data analysis to support Summer Seminar planning.• Event planning & coordination to support Summer Seminar 2013.
