I retired from EY in July 2021 after a successful 38-year career.My current business activities include a number of different roles with various organizations, including private equity, technology and non-profit organizations. The largest role I play is as a senior advisor to MorganFranklin Consulting, a management and technology consulting firm that works with leading businesses to address critical finance, technology and business objectives. I also currently serve as a board member and chairman of the audit committee of Blue Owl Real Estate Net Lease Trust, a public REIT. I am a connector and catalyst with decades of client service, leadership, financial expertise and board governance credentials, all with EY. I have had significant US and global experience, leading C-Suite and board engagements across multiple sectors while also building and global, national and local EY businesses with markets and P&L responsibilities. I am viewed as a strategic, relationship-focused and entrepreneurial leader, with strong expertise in M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital. As a result of these skills, I can specifically offer a value-added perspective in the areas of finance team assessment, CFO mentoring, IPO readiness and identifying financing alternatives, especially around Private Equity. I am a global expert with significant expertise working with and advising companies on matters of geopolitical importance, having spent the past 4+ years starting up, growing and leading EY’s Geostrategic Business Group. I am well positioned to serve as a highly engaged, practical advisor to company executives and board members as an audit committee chair or member, as I am qualified to serve as a financial expert under SEC, NYSE and NASDAQ rules, and an active CPA. I especially love working with high growth, pre-IPO companies and I would immediately contribute as an active member of a board of director or board of advisors to help a management team execute on significant growth and transactions.
