My responsibilities as an Exhibition Designer include:● In-house creative design using Vectorworks and Artlantis.● Using Adobe programs such as Illustrator to create artwork and files for CNC/Laser cutting.● Managing jobs from the initial designs right through to the build of the stand. ● Scheduling of events ensuring all deadline targets are achieved.● The manufacture, build and dismantle of the exhibition stand.● Administration.My top achievements:► ABTT 2014 – This was one of the first jobs where I was heavily involved in the design aspect. The design was completely different to all past Harlequin designs and used new methods and new materials. All Harlequin stands since have been based on this design. ► Mitie 2015 –I was assigned to this job and took a lead role from the initial designs to the build. The client was very happy with the outcome and I received a special mention in the debrief, recognising my involvement and good communication throughout the job.► Cembrit 2015 – National Home Building Show was the second stand where I took a lead role in the design and build of the stand. I created the initial designs and development and worked with the client right up to the build. The build went very smoothly and the client was very pleased with the outcome.

My responsibilities as a Junior Designer included: ● Using Adobe Illustrator to design artwork.● Using design packages on simple structures and smaller stands.● Collating materials needed for clients’ stands at the store.● Understanding the design process and starting to visualise jobs.● Communicating with clients about their stands.● Ensuring paperwork was correctly filed and job folders were kept up to date.
