Hi, my name is Jon Sigurdson. I have been a support worker in the mental health and addictions field for the past 3 years. I am very passionate about helping people and making a positive impact on the lives of those I serve. My dedication to helping others, and having lived through hardship myself, has shaped my expertise in overdose prevention, harm reduction, crisis intervention and the ability to create genuine and trusted connections with the unique individuals I've had the honor of providing care. I am committed to helping clients with day-to-day living, goal setting and achievements and being there for them in anyway possible.My strengths include: Cultural competence, active listening, critical thinking, communication, overdose awareness, boundary setting, and advocacy.
