About Jon Solomon

I am an experienced communicator, researcher and author dedicated to using sports for good in society. I cut my teeth as a journalist covering the challenges associated in college sports. Now I am playing my small part, through the Aspen Institute's Project Play initiative, to identify solutions for youth sports. Too many kids are left behind due to income, ability, gender, and race/ethnicity.HIGHLIGHTS-- Oversee communications platforms (social media, website, email blasts), edit and write reports, develop original content, organize events and webinars, and manage year-long projects.-- Author of multiple national/local, research-driven reports that identify challenges and solutions to increase physical activity among youth ages 6-17.
