Responsible for developing and implementing linkage between large scale crop simulation models, economic models, and atmospheric datasets, primarily completed in Java utilizing object-oriented programming paradigm. Authored paper on modeling integration which was published in 2019 in Agronomy Journal. Additionally, investigated space-borne remote sensing datasets, such as the MODIS albedo product, combined with atmospheric datasets, such as NCEP’s NARR data, for investigating agricultural impacts on satellite retrievals (results compiled into second paper, in progress). Extensively worked with python, R, and QGIS for the preparation of figures/visualizations. Prepared and presented findings via oral presentations and posters at scientific conferences such as AGU and EPSCoR.
