Us

As general manager for Emery Worldwide in both Fort Wayne, Ind., and Milwaukee, Wis., I oversaw aircraft and line-haul operations.

As general manager, my responsibilities were: Work with and develop management team in sales and operations; increase sales revenue with sales team; build a strong customer service organization, work on processes to maintain and exceed company standards. I oversaw aircraft and linehaul operations to a central hub. I had financial responsibility for the P&L, age reports on all accounts and worked with national accounts on major accounts in the Wisconsin area.

As terminal manager, I had financial responsibility for my station. I headed the sales team and worked with operations to exceed company standards. I worked with my operations group to manage our driver workforce and equipment and teamed with the national accounts division on major accounts in northern Indiana.
