I have over 20 years of experience leading and developing highly scalable, intelligent systems in startups and large enterprise. For the past 10 years, I have been a hands on CTO, and have brought a number of industry leading products from concept to market.I began my career at Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technologies Laboratories working on mission critical, fault tolerant, artificial intelligence systems. After that, I co-founded Net6 which was acquired by Citrix Systems for its Hybrid VPN – now known as the Citrix Access Gateway. After growing our product into one of the worlds most deployed enterprise VPNs at Citrix, I founded QWASI and built the team and developed an industry leading cloud based enterprise messaging and engagement platform. Since QWASI, I have been an independent CTO and vCTO through my consulting company ModelRocket.With decades of hands on cutting edge software development that has touched millions of users, I strive to lead the engineering of both large and small organizations to make a global impact through technology and exceed business objectives. I provide a unique skill set of innovation, astute technical understanding, strategic thinking, and proven execution, while earning the confidence of executive management, customers, investors and colleagues.I hold a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and intelligent systems from Taylor University.
