When not serving my clients, I focus my energy on sculpting metal mobiles and large scale outdoor pieces inspired by the incredible work of Alexander Calder. Over 300 of them reside in places like Maine, California, Colorado, Connecticut, France, Denmark, and my favorite country, Ireland. A large scale mobile was on display at the corporate HQ of Urban Outfitters in the Philadelphia Navy Yard from 2012 -2014. That mobile has a new home in a greenhouse in Rochester, NY. ISPE is a 20,000 member global society of comprised of individuals involved in the all facets of the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals from facility design to processes to quality asurance. My work with ISPE has ranged from staff development to specialized initiatives to engage young professionals to strategic planning.

CUH2A was a global design services firm that specialized in large scale research and development facilities and laboratories in the academic, corporate and institutional sectors. During my 15 years with the firm, my responsibilites included business development, marketing, and project management for select clients. I served as an elected member of CUH2A's Board of Directors beginning in 2000. In 2008, CUH2A became part of HDR Architecture.

I was elected to the ISPE International Board of Directors in the mid 1990's and became an officer in 1998 and Chairman of the Board in 2001. During my tenure, ISPE grew in membership to well over 23,000 members worldwide and the Board established new financial policies including the creation of reserve funds to weather any downturns emerging in future years. Getinge International was the North American Division of Getingeverken, a subsidiary of the Swedish corporation, Electrolux, until it was privately purchased in the late 1980's. Today, the company is known as Getinge Castle, headquartered in Rochester, NY. During my tenure at Getinge, I was a project manager for custom desined and built pharmaceutical equipment eventually shifting over to sales engineering and marketing, which I led proior to leaving the company.
