Division PresidentRealpage, Inc. Jul 2010 - Sep 2011Richardson, Texas, UsManaged 150 person call center, staff and technology through direct on-site work in Texas and remotely from the satellite office in California. RealPage’s flurry of acquisitions and executive management workload required handoff of call center management responsibilities without a knowledge transfer. This process necessitated the discovery and assessment of issues through product and process immersion and extensive collaboration with staff and technology deep dives. Analysis of staffing issues and technology resulted in planning and execution of staffing communication and feedback mechanisms generating improvements in staff morale and call center performance. Detailed technology reviews uncovered significant areas for technology improvement, which were corrected with the existing technology team and resources. Improvements were made and staff resources extended using RealPage’s existing team members and vendors who had RealPage call center experience and tribal knowledge but no official connection to call center technology or operations, generating operating improvements without any increase in staff resources. -

New product development included the full spectrum of tasks; opportunity identification, customer interviews and assessments, product design, MVP development, and customer validation testing of product / market fit. Generated budget, staffing, tech development requirements and customer sales targeting using existing staffing and resources and collaboration with disparate teams and executive leadership to complete the product’s market readiness. Product was developed and released as a revenue-generating addition to RealPage’s product mix.

The resulting company, developed over 10+ years, was the dominant product in its niche. In addition to its own products, eREI was selected to key consulting roles and Mr. Tull served as lead consultant for several marquee industry groups; building the MITS data standard for NMHC (National Multifamily Housing Council) for the apartment industry, led NAR’s (National Association of Realtors) commercial real estate group by providing data standards and technology consulting, and serving in a leadership role with the OSCRE data standards effort on behalf of NAR.
