ORGA is a leading supplier of hardware & software to the mobile comms, finance & security sectors. As UK MD I had P&L responsibility for a £45m regional subsidiary and had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in mobile (e.g. Vodafone, Orange) during a period of explosive growth for the entire industry. Responsible for sales management and direct sales into mobile operators during the launch of GSM onto the world stage. A hugely rewarding opportunity to experience cultural diversity and be part of an amazing growth story. The only downside is that the stresses of being sole-supplier of critical products for so many network launches means that I'm now bald as a coot!

Responsible for supporting Hitachi's range of secure microcontrollers with a special interest in smart cards. This included participating in the the creation of the technical standards for the GSM SIM and eating too many sandwiches courtesy of my fellow ETSI participants.
