I’m an experienced editor and author with 20 years of experience leading teams of writers and editors to build award-winning content libraries. I'm currently Editor-in-Chief at PetMD, a Chewy property, where my role is to manage the growth strategy for the website. My past experience includes About.com, where I managed a vertical and participated in that company’s turnaround after a Google penalty caused a 70% traffic drop in our content group. From there, I went to Bundoo.com, a start-up where I served as Content Director. At Bundoo I managed a staff of editors, writers, and clinical advisors as we built a content library from the ground up. Based on the strength of our content library, Bundoo was acquired by The Wellness Network (TWN), a leading patient education company. After the acquisition, I assumed the role of Content Director, a role I held for the next 4 years as we developed EHR-integrated patient engagement / education care plans and more than doubled the size of our video and print library. I’ve also served as a contract editor for publishing companies including Health Communications, Inc., Callisto, Amazon Publishing, Hay House, Oxford University Press, and Basic Health Publications and have edited or ghostwritten more than a dozen books on medicine and wellness, business, and award-winning fiction. Personally, I’m a multi-published author with Simon & Schuster (including the Amazon best-seller Houseplants for a Healthy Home, 2018). My previous writing credits include WebMD Provider Services, BioDigital, Better Homes & Gardens Special Interest Publications, eDiets, Life Extension, Better Nutrition, Chicago Tribune, Newsday, and others.
