I enjoy building businesses and creating opportunities for investment. My background is split between two tracks: 1) digital strategy, platform development, and multimedia storytelling; 2) Real estate investing and asset management. My experience spans both for-profit and non-profit sectors, as well as academia.I've produced projects that have trained journalists in conflict zones, addressed issues around black male perception and the achievement gap, countered industry spin around energy disasters, explored post-Katrina New Orleans and disaster response, and many, many more. These projects have gone on to win SXSW Interactive, beaten CNN and NPR for a Journalism Award, and received more 2012 Webby Awards than any company other than Volkswagen. My nonprofit, The Tiziano Project, was also recently recognized by Fast Company as one of the ten most innovative companies of 2014.Through my creative agency, Uncharted Digital, I worked with such great partners as Sundance, Tribeca, Ford Foundation, Open Society Foundations, and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting to help address some of the most important issues of our generation.Formerly serving as Senior Vice President of Ruder Finn and RFI Studios in New York.Extensive background in developing workshops, training programs and teaching both internationally and as an Adjunct Professor with courses on digital journalism and new media business models at the University of Southern California.
