About Jonviea Chamberlain

I am an epidemiologist at Unisanté, specializing in epigenetic epidemiology with a strong focus on chronic stress, accelerated aging, and epigenetic markers as proxies for clinical biomarkers. In close collaboration with the start-up Genknowme (Innosuisse grant), my current research explores how these epigenetic signatures can inform health outcomes and contribute to the development of personalized medical approaches.Prior to this, I worked at Inserm U1219, University of Bordeaux, where I researched the impact of allostatic load on cognition within a French dementia cohort. My earlier work during my PhD and first postdoc centered on examining all-cause and cause-specific mortality among individuals with traumatic spinal cord injuries in Switzerland.Across these varied research themes, I have consistently emphasized the importance of statistical and epidemiological rigor while striving to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application in healthcare.ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9515-1076
