I am a life long fan of technology. When growing up I always found myself wanting to learn the newest in the technology. I started out running up a $600 phone bill, dialing up bulletin boards from my parents house in Ottawa (Dad was less than happy about that). Then quickly advanced to learning how operating systems worked, when I would have to keep reinstalling Windows 95 every time I managed to break it. After that I moved on to more hardware focused learning when I joined the Army three days out of High School. There I learned a lot about mechanical and electrical systems. Early radios taught me about mechanical tuning and the RF spectrum. Later radio taught me about circuits, technical design and engineering diagrams. I also gained a strong drive to excel in the Military. I left the service feeling that it had made me better but at the same time it was not the place I could spend a lifetime inhabiting.My career after the military had no real focus until I started attending college. College is where I learned the basis for my technical knowledge. I learned simple and advanced concepts as far as Information Technology and Information Security were concerned.Throughout my entire professional career I have focused on helping out the people that drive a companies productivity. I had found the most friends and trusted colleagues when actively engaging in helping others achieve their tasks and fulfilling their roles. At the same time you have to keep yourself in check. Don't overextend yourself. Don't expect something from people they cannot provide. And lastly try to have fun at work whenever possible.
