As the Consulting Sustainability Director I am taking a leading the development of the sustainability and Net Zero strategy and narrative for the BACALL Aluminium project - a £1.4billion investment in the circular economy. This includes:• Assessing the design to identify sustainability and decarbonisation opportunities across the £1.4 billion investment• Developing Internal Carbon Pricing to support business cases for a £200million investment in low carbon technologies within the project• Leading the analysis of the evolving business landscape and the changing legislative environment to demonstrate a £100million per annum carbon price saving for investors and clients• Working with the procurement lead and other project heads to procure specialist contractors to support sustainability in design and planning• Working closely with contractors to deliver the sustainability programme ensuring high quality output that aligned to project requirements• Taking am taking a leading role in communicating to internal and external stakeholders, investors and consortium members on sustainability through presentations, reports, posts and speaking eventsIn addition to the Sustainability Director role I am working with clients to create partnerships and procuring specialist contractors to support sustainability and decarbonisation in design, planning and implementation for RIBA stages 1-6. This is enabling clients to access £100million of additional sales opportunities through identifying and coordinating strategic partnerships to support key clients through decarbonisation implementation.

Working at Accenture (previously known as Carbon Intelligence prior to 2022) as interim Head of Energy Services and Principal Consulting Engineer I took a lead in developing Carbon Intelligence’s CIBSE award winning Smart Optimisation and Net Zero programmes:• Leading the development of smart building integration and analytics:• Developing the building integration hardware solution• Directing the development of building analytics improvements• Managing projects for major clients such as Aviva Plc, PWC and BNP Paribas• Working at the forefront of Net Zero through the development of the Net Zero strategy and roadmap programme for clients:• Assisting clients to understand Net Zero requirements• Creating Net Zero strategies for property portfolios• Developing and implementing asset level Net Zero programmes• Providing due diligence on major Sustainable Finance investments; ensuring investments met sustainable finance requirements and reporting • Managing major projects for clients such as Aviva Investors• Working with sales and clients to develop an annual sales revenue pipeline of £1.5million• Measured and verified annual savings for clients of £2million on directly managed projects
