Have you ever crossed paths with someone that, no matter what, just seems to be able to keep pushing forward? Have you ever wondered what fuels this kind of “persistent behavior”? I believe I’ve found an answer, or at least my answer. For me, it’s all about passion. When I’m not dreaming about inspiring people and believing we are all meant to achieve something bigger, I devote myself to my other significant passion. I’m a big-time “techie”, and I cannot help but get my hands dirty when it comes to playing around with tech stuff. Granted, my latest management roles have taken away a lot of time to play around, however I’m a firm believer that a good leader must be able to speak the same language as those that follow and I take great pride in being able to sit down with my awesome engineering staff and discuss the latest and greatest technology.Almost 12 years of Enterprise IT experience have given me the chance to combine these two great passions of mine and develop a people and goal-oriented, technically savvy Enterprise IT Infrastructure Leadership profile; a perfect combination that allowed me to successfully demonstrate my abilities in the following areas:• Infrastructure Strategy, translating business objectives into IT infrastructure needs, ensuring that the right technologies are selected and implemented in time to support the business.• Infrastructure Engineering, ensuring that the IT infrastructure is sufficiently robust, scalable and efficient to support the business.• Infrastructure Governance, continuously monitoring and facilitating the performance and modernization of the IT infrastructure across the enterprise.• Infrastructure Evolution, making sure that the almost inescapable necessity of technology evolution is met in order to support the business.• Service Level Management, through the development of processes, people, technology and service level and operating level agreements.
