Our journey began in early 2000 in a shophouse on Keong Saik Street, a quaint part of Singapore dotted with Chinese clan associations, old trading businesses and restaurants serving long-time customers. Armed with the conviction that our work is about helping people, People at Work was founded (renamed The People at Work in end 2004). We fiercely valued our independence then, as we still do now, and set our minds to pursue relationships with companies who sought strategic counsel and were keen to work with a partner in a thoughtful and inclusive manner, driven by a desire to achieve excellence in our work. We made a promise to ourselves that we would be guided only by integrity and professionalism, knowing that financial rewards would follow thereafter. We have a consistently strong track record across Asia and continue our emphasis on Quality of work delivered.,. Whether working with clients setting up their first Asian office, building their operations in emerging markets, or identifying next-generation leaders, we are proud to take ownership of our work.We are most strongly focussed on life sciences, consumer, industrial/manufacturing, related PE/VC and have special interest in working with family-owned businesses. Our work has brought us everywhere in Asia including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, India, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.
