Building on my expereince of working in different countries and cultures, recognising that the cost point can be significantly different from location to location, TECSS was created to provide near shore resources for UK companies who (1) require additonally fire power in their teams, (2) need to fill a skills gaps or (3) purely want to outsource a project to an agile development team to improve costs and delivery timeframes.

Achievements::- Identifying Skopje as an early adoption market for near shore software delivery and thus setting up a new development delivery company - Software4Insurance (S4i) - and all related functions and processes.:- Building 8 .net and Java agile scrum teams supported by Product Owners and QA engineers using both automation and manual testing tools.:- Building culture and branding that enabled the team to grow to a headcount of 48 in just 18 months in a relatively small though what became a challenging market where salaries were increasing at 25% per year.:- I can honestly say this was the best role I have ever undertaken made possible by an ecceptionally talented and fun team in Skopje.Additionally to building S4i for TransactorGSL, I was also asked to take the COO role for a near shore development center in Krakow that required rebuilding and process improvement. The objective of this role was purely to 'settle the ship' for 15 months, reduce staff turnover, improve development processes and productivity whilst the wider aquisition process was started. Responsibilities:- Create new operational entities in Singapore and Australia from the ground up through to profitability to include all legal aspects, hiring, banking and related processes.- Developed a sales and support operation from scratch.- Extended the partner and alliances network.- Developed a marketing and strategic plan to deliver branding and generate pipeline.- Novated existing commercial relationships to newly formed entities.

Responsibilities:- Managed and extended existing partner and alliance network in key indirect markets to include APAC, South Africa, Middle East and Latin America. - Define strategy to bolster existing partnerships and enter new markets and regions- Deliver on aggressive revenue targets.- Build a larger Partner and Alliances team based out of the Geneva head office
