Assessing cyber threats, while implementing and administering cyber security tools to ensure secure enterprise-wide IT operations, performance, data, and resiliency. Implements, administers and supports DOD CND tools (HBSS, ACAS) to maintain network security posture to current required level.• Supports the Project Manager by preparing for yearly Defense Security Service (DSS) and Department Security Review (DSR) assessments on multiple circuits.• Provide continual service management improvement and remediation (STIG, POA&M support and reporting).• Evaluates security configurations, vulnerability scan results, system artifacts, and justifications to developed comprehensive data-driven and risk-based recommendations.• Administering, maintaining, and sustaining the DOD mandated CND tools suites (HBSS, ACAS, and SCAP) per operational requirements and their Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs)• Managing the lifecycle of the CND suite, to include refresh cycles, EOL, and providing specs for hardware acquisitions as needed.

Working closely with chief information officer (CIO), systems administrators (SA), network engineers and systems / data owners to prepare to security-related guidance on business processes, emerging technologies/development acquisitions, vulnerability assessments and mitigation approaches. Vulnerability scans (HBSS, ACAS), contingency plan testing, VMS management and continuous monitoring of authorization, continuous monitoring based on sound risk management practices of Office of Naval Research (ONR) / Global (ONRG) guideline. Prepare for Certification & Accreditation (C&A) packages and Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CSI / CCRI).

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Program Executive Office - Mission Assurance (PEO-MA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) lab to support the maintenance of the baseline configuration, vulnerability test and systems assessments. Applying knowledge of vulnerability management, risk management assessment, analysis, and risk management framework, IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to develop, implement, and maintain a secure enclave environment.
