Joonhaeng Lee is a computational designer, designing generative objects and researching the automated fabrication process. He has a particular interest in web-based design platform and folding/unfolding process of flat sheet materials. Before studying at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Joonhaeng worked for Syntegrate, leading Building Information Modeling(BIM) consultancy in Asia, as a consultant. He participated in design development, fabrication, and construction of uniquely shaped buildings such as Louis Vuitton flagship store designed by Frank Gehry, and Mt.Fuji Heritage Center designed by Shigeru Ban.Joonhaeng studied at Yonsei University and the National University of Singapore. He received a B.Arch(with National Science & Technology Scholarship, S Design Award) from the Yonsei University.
