I have been in the Korean securities and investment banking industries for 30 years. During the period, I made an excellent history of leading companies so that they could turn around or jump up to leading positions.I started my career from 1987 in Daewoo Securities, the #1 securities house in Korea. After Daewoo crisis in 1999, as head of Corporate Strategy Department, I restructured Daewoo Securities so that the company could survive out of financial crisis and restore the leading position in the Korean financial market. After moving to Woori Financial Group in 2004, as head officer of Merger Office of Woori Securities & LG Securities, I successfully performed merger and PMI(Pre-Merger Integration) of the two companies.In Woori Investment & Securities(currently NH Investment & Securities), in 2005, as head of Corporate Strategy, I made new vision and strategy of the company and reshaped the company's business model from simple brokerage house model to investment bank model. And the vision and strategy of the company became the basis of current dominant market position of the company in Korean Investment Banking market.After a brief job in KTB securities, in 2012, I came back to KDB Daewoo Securities. As head of Financial Products and Marketing Division, I led development of new financial products and services, and executed creative marketing campaigns both on-line and off-line markets. Under my leadership, the company could successfully expand its client base and increase profits significantly and could get more strong market position.I graduated from Seoul National University in 1985, and master degree in 1987. I graduated with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, MBA, in 1996.
