Joon is a registered architect in MA, USA with more than 20 years of practical experience in the US, Korea, and Hong Kong. During his professional career, Joon has worked on designing and delivering many prominent large-scale projects, which include NEOM Norlana resort and community in KSA, Singapore Changi Terminal 4, Orange County CBD + Township in Indonesia, Beijing Daxing Airport, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Midfield Satellite Concourse, and Hong KongInternational Airport Midfield Concourse.He has developed his expertise and in-depth knowledge of TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) projects as well as rail projects, including the Hi-Speed Rail Terminus in Singapore, Qianhai RailTransit Consulting Project in Shen Zhen, China, Shou Gang Capital Steel TOD in Beijing, China and Regional Transport Hub in Korea. He has recently delivered tender packages for HK MTR's Rail + Property project of Tuen Ma Line Extension as a lead designer/station architect of TMS station. Joon is also a competent and experienced BIM user, who has worked as a BIM coordinator of MTR Tuen Ma Extension, the first MTR project to use the digital delivery system of BIM 360. He oversees all the design collaboration, model coordination, document management and statutory submissions within the BIM environment. Joon has a strong graphical and presentation sense and is proficient in major 3D modelling/rendering/animation tools of Rhino/TwinMotion/Enscape/V-ray and also competent in using AutoCAD, Microstation, Sketchup, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Suite.With a commitment to quality work and attention to detail, Joon is proactive and effective in communication skills and demonstrates strong leadership skills that inspire quality and cooperation.Joon gained a Master’s degree from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design in the US.
