Working as a leader of Technology Center of Excellence (CoE) is my newest extension of job responsibilities. The CoE-group is made up of experts and it has responsibilities of managing organisational level architectural guidelines and approving all the technologies used in the organization. My duties in the CoE includes leadership and development of the CoE and its processes.I also work on architectural design at higher level. My job is to design system solution architecture (SaaS and onPremise acquisitions, SAP, in-house development etc.) and make independent decisions within the guidelines set by the enterprise architecture. My responsibilities also include various leadership responsibilities (teams, webinars, forums), performing and networking.In addition, I have created from scratch a technology community of practise (CoP). Nowadays over 150 in-house experts gather together every three weeks to hear and discuss about different technologies and solutions. I lead those meetings and organize presentations on various topics.

My role in the system development is to tie the technology capabilities to the business requirements. I produce plans with visual models of a system, processes, integrations and an information exchange. I guide and support the requirements coordinators with their duties. I am responsible for architectural design of Asiakastietojärjestelmä (The system maintains customers' shared and common information).

I worked with EESSI (EU's system of Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information), SOTE (Finnish health and social care reform) and Asiakastietojärjestelmä (a system that maintains shared and common information of business customers of KELA). I made plans for system flow and information exchange between systems. Big part of my duties were interaction with system developers and customers. I produced visual models about process and information flows, wrote technical documents and instructions, collected requirements as well as worked with system designers to overcome limitations and problems.

I had wonderful time at home with my kids. Luckily it wasn't all about diapers, tears or shit. At no doubt I'm not going to regret that time. When those little rascals will someday move out to explore the world I'll be very happy that we have shared so many happy moments together. I love them!But, oh boy, it was time of growth. I improved many of my professional skills like human interpersonal, leadership, time planning, stress management and facilitation skills.
