I'm deeply committed to driving transitions towards fair distribution of value and a healthy planet. I mainly do this in the capacity of Senior Consultant at NewForesight. As part of the Sustainable Sourcing and Impact team, I primarily work in and on agricultural commodity supply chains with up- and downstream players in sectors such as coffee, cocoa, tea, natural rubber, palm oil, cotton - across 30+ countries.Three questions need answering to accelerate transitions: 1. Where do we want to be? 2. Who do we need to incentivize in what way to get there?3. How will we know when we're there?I help answering these questions. I create value in the form of market reports, strategy & business model innovation, partnership brokering, supply chain strategies, benchmark and assurance reviews, living income & wage benchmarking, and more.Partners I work with include:• Multi-stakeholder partnerships, ISEAL members, standard owners• Multinational corporates, incl retail, manufacturing, traders• Governments at national and regional level• Development institutions and impact investorsNext to devoting my time to sustainability consultancy, I have founded Correspondents of the World: a platform to foster understanding by sharing personal stories on environment, migration, gender, among others. In addition to this, I love to compose and perform piano songs. Prior to joining NewForesight, I was part of the creation of the Code Social Enterprises: a principle-based certification system to recognize social enterprises in the Netherlands. I'm a member of GroenLinks - the Dutch Green Leftist party and believe in politics as a key pathway to structural change.
