In addition the TTO is responsible for the identification, protection and exploitation of Intellectual Property through licensing and the establishment of spin-off companies.Responsibilities:- reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad scope of medium to complex commercial transactions with a broad scope, including agreements related to the protection and commercialization of IP, R&D, IT/software, data protection, collaborations, co-development, material transfer, confidentiality, investments, grants, sale/purchase, distribution and privacy;- protecting, maximizing the value and licensing of Intellectual Property (patents, know-how and research tools).- reviewing, drafting and negotiating consortium and grant agreements between companies, academic parties and funding agencies (eg European Commission, Agentschap NL, FP7, Innovative Medicine Initiative, Marie Curie, Ti-Pharma, CTMM, BMM, ZonMW and STW).- structuring, managing and supporting spin-off companies; - resolution of disputes and coordination of litigation;- providing legal and strategic advice;- managing relationships with external law firms, companies and research institutions.
