At DRU my responsability is to develop the European markets for gas-, wood and electric fireplaces. This together with our distributeurs we grow the business per EU country. My region includes all Europe (with the exception of Germany and Austria), North Africa and the Middle East. Big part what makes my job interesting is the different markets, cultures and people I work with. Always looking for new opportunities to set up new distributors in new countries. Together with our distributors we also provide input for (future) product development.

Account Manager responsible for (key) accounts in the BLX, FR, ES, UK and overseas markets. The (yearly) responsibilities include day-to-day account management together with the sales team. Furthermore negociations on terms and conditions, trade show attendance, sales data analysis and quarterly and yearly meetings to evaluate the performance are amongst my responsibilities. Acquisition of new partners/distributors, discussing marketing plans/calendars together with our customers and arrange tradeshow attendances together with various departments (Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Product Management).

In these three geographical regions I am responsible for managing a number of customers, tradeshows and the acquisition of new customers.Coordinator of the Sales Team. This means I am responsible for a team of four in our sales department and the coordination with the Account Managers for a diversity of regions (Benelux, Europe and Overseas).

Managing a Customer Service Department together with my colleagues. Monitoring the automated ordering process of webshop orders, incidental orders and straight rebuy. Servicing international customers from the Benelux, United Kingdom, Ireland and France. Responsable for procedures, reportings, KPI's and collaboration with other departments (eg Marketing, Product Development, Finance and Logistics)

For three years I have worked at the Customer Service Dept at Carlisle EU Headquarters in Zevenaar. Responsable for the UK, Irish, French, Spanish, Portugese and North African markets. From initial order to straight rebuy managing regional accounts together with the designated Area Sales Managers. Together we work out sales strategies, attendance at trade shows and improve the service level to increase our turnover and market share in the designated area.

Manager Sales Support at SHC (Schut Hoes Cartons). For a year I have worked as Manager Sales Support for Smart Packaging Company SHC. This department is responsable for the development and implementation of new packaging designs and the first time delivery of these new concepts to existing customers, leads and prospects. Once the inital packaging had been designed and produced for the first time the account was handed over to an Inside Account Manager.

I have worked five years as an Inside Account Manager for Checkpoint CheckNet customers of South Europe (France, Spain and Italy for example Leclerc, Carrefour, El Corte Ingles and Eroski). CheckNet supplies a worldwide webased price tag ordering system for retailers to implement source tagging and hardtagging into their supply chain solutions . Furthermore I have been part of the team that implemented a global source tagging (hardtagging at source, antitheft price tags and RFID solutions) programme for Metro/Makro
