Started as a Senior Designer and worked my way up through to Project Architect/Manager then was promoted to Associate. Work included all phases of interior architecture, space planning, schematic design, design development, model building, construction documents, specifications, presentations, permitting, bidding and negotiations, construction administration, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
Designed ATM installations, conducted field surveys, drafting, AutoCAD, prepared projects for agency review, permit processing, space planning, site planning, exterior lighting design to conform with AB 244.Client: Security Pacific National Bank
Summer internship with construction department. The hotel was about to start the design process of its 100th year renovation. However there were no as-builts nor any remaining drawings of the interiors of all the rooms and other public space to be renovated. Our crew of two architects supervised 4 draftspersons (me included) to draft as-builts of the entire hotel. We got to see many spaces of the hotel which are off limits to the public. A lot of history is buried in between the walls and ceilings at the Del.
