I started my career as a Hosting and Domain specialist and was as such part of the first wave of cloud transformation. Moving from on-premise solutions that where only available if one was physically present on a location to having access from anywhere and with any device was in those days restricted to e-mail and websites. Now this "cloudification" has taken over all industries and all applications and many software developers are looking for ways to transform their application to new ways of distributing the application (web/mobile), new channels of selling through (digital marketplaces), and new ways of billing (per seat, per month, per resource). These changes often seem simple and quickly to implement but often require a change in the way organisations functions. This process fascinates me and I find the results often breathtaking.
