Jooyeon joined Edelman as an Account Executive of Samsung Core in July of 2023. In the Samsung DS (semiconductors) and HQ departments, she supports the development of articles and executive speeches at events such as “Samsung S.LSI Tech Day” and does copywriting for semiconductor products in Korean. Before her time at Edelman, Jooyeon worked as a consultant for Apple and Moloco at Nasmedia, Korea’s largest media representative company. She provided data analysis and campaign optimization consulting. She played a key role in successfully launching Netflix's ad service in Korea, as part of the sole agency for the service. Jooyeon was a director of VIRUS NETWORK, a social venture in Korea. She co-managed government projects and organized events such as “Aerospace Technology Entrepreneurship Academy”. Jooyeon developed a remote dementia management solution name “Haruhanjang," and she worked with the government to prototype and coordinate the service. The solution won the grand prize in a competition hosted by SK, a top-tier firm in Korea. In her undergrad years, Jooyeon won grand prizes in various competitions hosted by top companies in Korea such as POSCO and the government. She majored in Global Service and Public Relations & Advertising at Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, Korea.
