About Jooyoun Paek
I enjoy leading teams to create memorable experiences. As I believe living now and feeling happy being present matters most in life, I have honed my skills in communicating with various people to collaborate and create exquisite experiences in many different scales and environments. I strategize the interweaving of both digital and physical experiences by delivering market insights, concept statements, concept sketches, motion prototypes, visual mock-ups, and storyboards. I am most at home in agile survey, A/B testing and custumer analysis, although I enjoy all kinds of research to identify custumers’ needs to craft long-term vision.In addition to my commercial pursuits, I was an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program and taught the course, “Be Here Now: Wares for Sharing”, focused on experience design processes that apply to both service design and artistic expression. Recently, I’ve been invited to talk on stage at HongIk University about “How to Sell Yourself as a Designer in Tech World”I also have been Artist in Residence at EYEBEAM and Lower Manhattan Cultural Counsil, where I created interactive installations and conducted workshops to foster creative expression from the local community. My artwork has been featured in numerous art shows including ‘Design and the Elastic Mind’ at MoMA. Moreover, I’ve been featured in KyungHang News, one of the top four news channel in Korea, as lead climber at Team Rock & Rock. ——Please use ‘message’ for portfolio request.
