Staffing is a business-critical function at the heart of at BCG. I work closely with senior partners and managing directors to optimize deployment of talent, which directly impacts profitability. This is not a recruitment role.I partner and communicate regularly with the system leads and partners to maintain up-to-date view of the project pipeline and business development needs. I also advise them on capacity and people related matters.

In this role I drove the flagship Sea Management Associate Programme, Shopee & SeaMoney track. This is a 2-year early career talent recruitment programme aimed at grooming the next generation of digital leaders. I am passionate about engaging young talents and co-mapping their career journeys within the organisation.

In my role in CHROO, I focus on uplifting the capabilities and professionalising the Public Service HR workforce. I also had the opportunity to take on another portfolio that looks at transiting at-risk officers/workers into meaningful second careers. My key achievements include:1. Central deployment of officers under the HR Professional Development Programme (2020) - I developed and implemented a 2-year programme aimed at enhancing the employability of mid-careerists looking for a career switch into HR. 2. Leveraging digital tools to optimise HR productivity (2019) - I partnered with more than 10 public agencies to integrate a chatbot tool in their existing recruitment and selection process. This has helped the HR teams save time on manual shortlisting and improve candidates' experience.3. HR Talent Attachment Programme & Structured Job Rotation (2019) - I designed the parameters and facilitated the attachments of high potential HR officers into the private sector. I was also a key member in setting up the guidelines, process and systems of the functional job rotation.4. Designing community engagement events (2018 - 2020) - I led a team to design and execute community-building events for 2 consecutive years. These events allowed me to foster strong relationships with the community and tap on their collective wisdom. I also work closely with national and international accreditation bodies such as IHRP and CIPD as well as industry partners such as RBL to build a stronger HR.

I joined Goodrich to fulfill a two-year bond, as part of the MOM National HR Scholarship I was awarded. During my stint at Goodrich, I performed the entire suite of HR functions across the employee life cycle. I supported the Director of HR in recruitment, performance management matters, as well as the administration of payroll. My key achievements were partnering external consultants on an organisation-wide job sizing review and revamping the compensation structure for the sales team. I played a key role in communicating and implementing the new commission guidelines.
