Gathered information relating to individuals and organisational risk, providing assessments based on this. I provided service options and specifications to inform decisions on prospective placements.

I was responsible for the direction of six homes for people with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour, line management of Registered Managers and the development of service needs assessments for new admissions. I was part of a board of directors who develop quality policies, practices and procedures for the care and support of people with ASD and challenging behaviour.

I maintained continuity of supervision and support of the managers responsible for the staff teams who were transferred by Spectrum under TUPE arrangements. Appointed by CSCI in Croydon as Responsible Individual for Modus Care Ltd, who were trading as Axiom Care Ltd.

Responsible for managing two services in South London for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) and challenging behaviour. I supervised managers responsible for the staff teams. Until January 2002 I was also responsible for the management of an out-of-county bespoke service in Bristol for one person with an ASD and severe challenging behaviour. This was in close collaboration with Bristol & North East Somerset Health Authority. Prior to this I worked through the company from bank/relief staff to team leader and group manager levels.
