With over ten years of experience in software development and architecture, I am a passionate and innovative lead developer at Cisco, where I manage and deliver complex and high-impact projects for the financial services and sales analytics domains. I have a strong background and interest in data migration, microservices, cloud computing, and machine learning, and I constantly seek to learn new technologies and frameworks to improve the quality and efficiency of my work. I also hold a MA in Psychoanalytical Studies from Birkbeck, University of London, which gives me a unique perspective and insight into human behavior, motivation, and communication, and enables me to collaborate effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams.In my current role at Cisco, I have successfully led the development and deployment of Dockerised RESTful microservices using Spring Boot, Flask, and Node.js onto Openshift, integrating various databases such as Oracle, Mongo, Postgres, CouchDB, and RockDB. I have also migrated a Teradata-based data feed incorporating petabytes of data to Spark and Snowflake, ensuring compliance with strict security and regulatory protocols surrounding customer data. Additionally, I have developed predictive financial models using Deep Learning 4J, and created dynamic permission-based UI using React, Next.js, and GraphQL. Some of the skills that I have utilized and enhanced in this role include Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Voldemort, Berkeley DB, and Sun Certified Java Programmer.
