- Design and deliver bespoke suspension systems/solutions for military applications- Perform design for manufacture (DFM) and cost optimisation reviews on current product and development mechanical systems- Hydraulic valve design, development and testing, for when off the shelf solutions are not suitable for application- Assemble and test prototype suspension systems to ensure designs are fit for production, and able to meet stringent customer performance requirements.- Design and manufacture unique test equipment to enable testing of components to remain in house.- Determination of Engineering effort and BOM costing for project quoting.- Develop standardised assembly work instructions to ensure consistent quality output of medium scale manufacturing runs. - Review engineering drawings in accordance with AS 1100. - Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide appropriate solutions.
