Austunnel is a provider of services and products to the Australian Construction, Mining and Tunnelling industries. My responsibilities at Austunnel are varied and include everything from Human Resources and Marketing, to Research, Strategy and OH&S. The diversity of this role makes my job title slightly misleading. This position has required me to relocate from Perth to Brisbane and eventually Sydney.Duties:- Human Resources including interviewing, recruiting and inducting new employees as well as implementing a new induction procedure.- Review and amend company contracts, plans, procedures and OH&S documentation. - Identify and canvass potential business acquisitions, including visiting business premises and project sites and interviewing the business owners.- Research and analyse competitors’ products and strategy and report findings to Managing Director.- Research and analyse projects and potential clients and report findings to Managing Director.- Determine feasibility of new product and service offerings.- Development of 5 year strategic plan.- Managing all marketing activities including; coordinating exhibitions, design of promotional products, website, brochures and logo as well as print and web advertising. - Procurement – safety equipment, consumables, PPE and promotional products.- Managing the development of custom made Customer Relationship and Human Resources management software to be integrated with the company website.
