I graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in Health Policy and Management from Providence College, where I developed a strong passion for understanding and improving the healthcare system. Throughout my studies, I focused on exploring its challenges and opportunities for transformation and innovation.During my time at Providence College, I pursued various experiential learning opportunities. Notably, I completed an internship at Care Transformation Collaborative of Rhode Island (CTC), a statewide organization dedicated to enhancing primary care practices and promoting health equity. At CTC, I actively contributed to evaluating and concluding their annual conference, collaborated with professionals from diverse organizations, and gained proficiency in utilizing tools and strategies to assess project outcomes.Additionally, I expanded my knowledge of healthcare systems as a mentee at UniCare, where I delved into the complexities of the health insurance system in Massachusetts. I studied the roles of different stakeholders, explored payment sources, and analyzed healthcare financial aspects alongside the Head of Analytics, focusing on data related to hospital and physician spending.Prior to my internships, I acquired valuable hands-on experience as a food and beverage specialist at The Winni Juice Box for two years. In this role, I managed operations and ensured optimal sales performance of the juice truck, refining my organizational and customer service skills.I am now eager to leverage my academic background and practical experience in a dynamic organization that values collaboration, diversity, and social impact. With strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen interest in data, policy, and finance, I am adaptable, curious, and committed to continuous professional growth.
